I always find the topic of my favorite band a challenging one. That is because there are so many amazing bands out there. It also depends on what mood im in as to what type of music i will be listening to. If I had to select my favorite bands they would be Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and Rush. All of these bands memebers are amazingly talented, have produced great albums, and made a huge impact on there genre of music.
Something you might notice is that there are no pop artists on this list. That is because i have little respect, or like for pop for the most part. Sure, the songs might be catchy the first couple of times, but the lyrics are almost always terrible. There are some exceptions to this. Another thing is it doesnt take much skill to produce pop music, you dont even have to be a singer able to sing on key because of autotune, and with the zero instrumentals the people using the computers to generate the beats are the only people who need to know anything. That is why i think all other genres are superior to pop music. But everyone is entitled to there own opinion, and i will admit that there are some decent pop artists out there.So what are your favorite bands and what is your view on pop music?
